Great adventure.. wear good boots, bring a small camping chair.. you need it after paddling all day!! Also pack as light as possible, spend time planning or looking at rout before going.. and go over food they are packing if you won't eat it leave it every ounce counts!!
Experience of a lifetime!! Enjoyed a trip with my son and scout crew!! Loved it!
We went for 5 nights and 6 days in June 2021. The trek itself was outstanding. Definitely lived up to the High Adventure mentality. Everyone really enjoyed their adventure! Our guide, Bird, was exceptional. Overall, I highly reccommend …
The hardest and best thing I've ever done.
Beautiful sights especially if you get to a waterfall. Staff were very enthusiastic and hardworking. Our guide Allen was fantastic. Will never forget the experience.
Thanks to everyone who made our experience this past week a pleasure and a true adventure!! This is one of the rare places to truely get out in the wild and experience some beautiful and rugged landscape and lakes. We hope to be able to visit again soon!!
Hard. But worth every second. The interpreters are top-notch and the experience is a once in a lifetime thing.
We had a great trip. The staff was excellent and we're able to address issues as they came up. Even with covid protocols in place, they were able to provide an excellent Okpik experience.
Amazing place to experience the wilderness and take a trip of a life time, in the summer canoe and camping trips, in the winter dog sled trips! Great fishing and lots of wilderness to relax in!!
An awesome experience with our boys. Base camp was chaotic and disorganized but probably no more than expected with BSA.
An amazing experience with our crew after a week of canoeing! Beautiful vast wilderness with lakes so big you can paddle for a day on them without reaching the other side. We stopped to stay a day at this one island with some great climbing rocks and an awesome waterfall with a natural swimming pool at the edge.
